I’ve always wanted to go on a retreat, what is the daily agenda like?
Our proposed agenda will include daily guided hiking opportunities or a morning movement opportunity like biking, yoga or a seminar by Megan Gunnell, Founder & Director of the Thriving Well Institute on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle with an increased focus on self-care and mindfulness practices.
There’s plenty of time for relaxation and downtime too. The afternoons are left open for scheduling time at the spa or relaxing by the pool. Before dinner we offer an afternoon group session that will help you discover more about how to achieve your personal and professional goals and thrive in your life both at work and at home!
Do I have to attend everything on the proposed agenda?
No. This retreat is for you! You’re invited to follow the proposed agenda to maximize your retreat experience, or you’re welcome to decide what you participate in and how you design your time at Red Mountain Resort.
Do I have to eat with the group?
No. Breakfast and lunch are open seating and they recommend making a dinner reservation. You’re welcome to make a dinner reservation for yourself or with others accompanying you or those you meet on the retreat, but you don’t have to eat with the group.
I’m not super fit, will I be able to enjoy the morning guided hiking?
Yes! The resort offers various levels of hikes for all levels to enjoy from very simple, slow paced hikes on mostly level terrain to more challenging hikes at a faster pace with more elevation changes. The guides are extremely helpful and experienced and will support the participants and answer any questions you might have. They are also super knowledgeable about the landscape and flora / fauna in the surrounding area.
Can I bring my spouse of friend with me?
